As Waylon Jennings sings in one of my favorite songs, “Ive Been A Long Time Gone”. Yep they caught up with me, took my “shine” and “wacky weed” and said, “Boy, we are going to put you away for awhile, enroll you in one of them free government programs and teach you stuff.” Well, they let me out yesterday, after three years of eating nothing but baloney and gravy here I am trying to pick up where I left off if I can just remember where it was that I left off.
Seriously, I have not been in jail eating baloney and gravy and smoking wacky weed and drinking moonshine. I just got tired of writing and remembering things that I liked to write about. So, at the insistence of others, only one person actually, I am going to give it a shot again. I will sign off for now so that I might sit in the recliner and think up of some of my misadventures and other stuff to write about, so don’t go away for good but come back soon to visit The Viking Chronicles.
